VK Automart management claims that company regularly pays taxes | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 22: Management of V K Automart Pvt Ltd today said that the company is very diligently paying its taxes and filing its returns on time. The company said that an amount running into lakhs stand deposited with the State Taxes Department as GST Input Credit to be adjusted against future sales. A spokesman of the company said that the company is a law abiding company and it has never indulged in any misappropriation of financial transactions. The spokesman was responding to a news report that the State Taxes Department inspected the premises of the company and found something wrong there. The spokesman said that the inspection was carried out in a routine manner and nothing wrong was found during the inspection. The spokesman denied that tax on turnover running in crores have been held back and were directed on spot to clear their tax liability within seven days failing which action under Section 67 of the GST Act shall be instituted against them. |
