| NCC Cadets of MAM PG College visit Blind school | | |

Jammu, Nov 22: NCC Cadets of 2 J&K Boys Bn NCC Jammu of Govt. MAM PG College Jammu visited to Louis Braille Memorial Residential School for Sightless Girls, Roopnagar under the supervision of Capt. Dr. Karan Singh, Associate NCC Officer of the College along with Balwan Singh Chib, Treasurey Officer Akhnoor. During the visit the cadets interacted with the children of blind school. The children of Blind School helped the cadets to read Braille language and also show them how they operate computer systems. The principal of the blind school also said that there is no playground for the children to play. He also added that the government is doing nothing in this case. The children said that they face problem in giving exams for class 8th as the government is not sanctioning recognition for the school and the children have to go outside of the school to get education. This event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Romesh Chandra-Principal Govt. MAM PG College, Jammu. |
