| Protest against permission to Jio cabling on Dudu-Basantgarh road | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Dec 11: Agitated over already worst condition of Ramnagar to Dudu Basantgarh road and permission granted to Jio for laying cable on this road by the Public Works Department (PWD) authorities, the locals of the area staged a protest demonstration.
Raising slogans against the PWD and district administration for granting permission to Jio cabling on Ramnagar to Dudu Basantghar road, the locals who were joined by the students said that they demand immediate repair and black topping of the road.
The protesting students said that due to worst condition of the road, they often reach their schools late while in case if there is rain, the mini buses do not ply due to which they fail to attend school. Despite manifold problems being faced by us, there has been no action by the district administration and PWD authorities to repair and improve the road condition. |
