Early Times Report
Udhampur, Dec 11: A specially abled person from Khambli-Mansar village of Udhampur district has taken the lead and set an example for the unemployed educated youth by setting up a mushroom growing unit in his home. The determined Ankur Singh did not allow his disability to spoil his career. He got all the help from the agriculture department. He now grows mushrooms and sells them in the market to make a honourable living. Singh has a message for all the unemployed educated youth of the state. "Do not lose heart. Remain focused and do not waste time running from one department to another in search of jobs. Establish your own units and live a dignified life," he said. Ankur wants the educated youth of the state to move ahead from job seekers to job providers. "There is always room at the top. The government cannot provide jobs to everybody. There is vast scope for small scale units. The mindset has to change now. This state has vast potential and luckily the experts are available to guidance," he said. The success has not gone to Singh's head. He is humble and soft spoken and always ready to help. |
