| Vishwa Bharati school celebrates generations' day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 15: Vishwa Bharati Senior Secondary School Akalpur Morh Jammu celebrated 'grandparents day' with extreme honour and reverence for the grandparents.
The programme commenced with the lightening of the lamp which was followed by the formal 'welcome address' by Achint Kour cultural co-ordinator of the school.
The day long programme continued with successive presentation of various cultural items which were fabulously presented by the tiny tots. The beautiful dance items on the songs'Iam a Barbie girl' 'Dada Dadi, Nana Nani,' 'Dil hai chota sa' and 'Itni si hassi' enthralled each and everyone.
Some grandparents were voluntarily showed their talents in their respective art which everyone enjoyed. All the participating grandparents were honoured by the authorities of the school.
Dr. S.K. Koul secretary of School in his address advised the young students to love and respect their grandparents and get their blessings for their bright future. |
