Poonch, Dec 15: Govt Middle school Loran lacks basic infrastructure from more then 9 years. For 72 students there is not even a single room in which class can be taken.
Locals and students said the clases are taken under the open sky. They added that comtinued exposure to sun light has caused man skin ailments.
They said the students are leaving the school and the number is decreasing with every passing day. " There is no place for the official record. Right now it is kept in the residence of the cook" they said.
The mater has been taken up with the concerned ZEO time and again but nothing has changed. The ZEO said that the school was seasonal."
In summer it works at Danna and at winter at Dhana. We have a building at Dhana. The upgradation of the building, however, was hamperd by the forest department which said the land belongs to them and no constructionis permited there.
They appealed Governor administration and Deputy commissioner to personally look into the matter so that the long pending problem and demand of people is fulfilled. |
