| Lal Singh's cold-shoulder response to BJP's bid to placate him | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 14: In a bid to placate former minister Choudhary Lal Singh, BJP state president Ravinder Raina has hailed Singh as strong and dynamic leader who is fighting for the cause of Jammu. But, Lal Singh, on the other hand, has given cold-shoulder response to the BJP state president.
While opening office of Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan at Jammu on Thursday, Lal Singh has not uttered even a single word in favour of state BJP leadership. Instead of giving hear to the praise of BJP, Lal Singh felicitated his supporters who have been elected as Sarpanchas and Panchs.
Lal Singh is wise enough to realize that state BJP leadership has lost credibility and trust of the people due to their failure to protect interests of the people so he is not giving any importance to the state leaders. He is aware that supporting BJP would be like carrying additional burden.
On Wednesday BJP state president Ravinder Raina has hailed Choudhary Lal Singh as one of the great leader of Jammu. He said that Singh is one of the senior and most respectable leaders of the party and party is supporting the campaign launched by Singh
Interestingly when Lal Singh was forced to resign on April 13 this year for the supporting the demand of CBI probe into the Rassana case no BJP leader supported him. Some leaders even hatched conspiracies against him to further demonize Singh.
On July 22, Lal Singh had formed Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan- apolitical organization with political agenda to create space for him by raking up pro-Jammu sentiments. |
