EJAC (R) highlights employees' problems, demands early redressal | | | Jammu, Dec 15: A joint meeting of the representatives of All Employees Joint Action Committee EJAC (R) was held at Jammu under the Chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik regarding the burning demands of employees Removal of Pay anomalies of Clerical Cadre/Amendment in SRO-333, Monetary benefits w.e.f 02/2003 and notionally w.e.f 01/1996. During meeting they highlighted regularization of Local Fund Casual Employees of Higher Education Department in different Colleges, Regularization of Daily Wagers/Casual/Contractual labourers, Enhancement of wages of Anganwari workers, Enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs. 300/- to Rs. 3000/- p.m, Revival and allocation of funds for functioning of Stores Procurement department, Revocation of Medical Insurance Policy, D.P.C and Carrier Progression of Employees outside the Civil Secretariat and Revocation of policy of winding up/merger of different departments. In the last an appeal was made to the Governor of the state that all these burning demands of the employees maybe settled as early as possible otherwise the employees will be left with no other option than to come on the roads and streets to get the justice. |
