| Missing girl traced within hours | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Dec 22: Rajouri police traced out a girl who went missing mysteriously from Kalakote area within hours of its report.
A lady from a village of Kalakote approached Kalakote police station yesterday evening and lodged a complaint stating that her daughter (identify) went to the market and did not return back home.
On this, a missing report was lodged and an alert was issued in the entire district while details of missing girl were also shared with police of Jammu and Reasi districts. Teams of police raised several nakas to find out the girl.
In the night hours, a team of Jammu police succeeded in locating the missing girl in a passenger vehicle at Chowki Choura Jammu on highway.
Later, she was handed over to a team of Kalakote police station and further to her legal heirs. Team of police headed by SHO Kalakote Mustaj Ahmed has started investigation into the matter to probe the cause of her missing. People from the area widely hailed the efforts of Jammu and Kashmir police in timely tracing of missing girl. |
