| All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers' Forum resent over bungling in development of SRML School | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 22: A meeting of All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers' Forum was held under the chairmanship of its president Deepak Sharma in which the forum took cognizance of alleged bungling in the development of SRML Higher Secondary School, Jammu as reported in some sections of media and termed it as mere propaganda. On enquiring from the Principal of the Institution, she informed the Forum that reconstruction of the school boundary wall was not new, as some portion of it had already fallen due to heavy rains and repaired before her takeover as Principal and rest of the unsafe boundary wall is under construction by the concerned Govt. agencies by fulfilling due codal formalities. Plus-2 Forum termed the incident as unfortunate and demanded that the true facts should be known before unnecessary media trials otherwise Head of the Institutions would shy away from taking up of development works in their respective institutions. Others who were present in the meeting included N.S. Jamwal, R.S. Slathia, Anil Sharma, Charan Dass, Pardeep Singh and Sanjay Kumar. |
