Kathua, Dec 25: BJP suffered a blow in kathua when dozens of its prominent workers joined Congress party in presence of former Minister and president DCC kathua Dr.Manohar Lal Sharma and Subash Gupta EX MLC.
During the function at kathua newly joined workers showed trust in leadership of Dr Sharma and resolved to work for further strengthening Congress party in kathua district. Workers said that they are fed up of the divisive politics played by BJP and dividing people on communal lines.
They added lucidity and truthfulness in policies of Congress and dynamism in leadership of Dr Manohar Lal make them to join Congress. While welcoming the new entrants in the party Dr Manohar Lal Sharma thanked the people and said Congress is only party which believes in equal development of all the regions of the state.
Prominent among those who joined are Mohinder pal Sharma (President Ravi River Action committee), Gourav Mahajan, Rishu Mahajan, Gurbachan,Ashok Kumar, Raj Kumar,Tarun patyal, Kalu Sharma, Mohan Sharma, Parveen kumar, Rohit kumar and others. |
