| NS Jamwal takes over as IG BSF Jammu Frontier | | |

Jammu, Dec 28: N S Jamwal, Inspector General took over the Command of BSF Frontier Jammu. He has succeeded Ram Awtar, IG who has been posted to BSF Academy Tekanpur. Prior to this appointment, N S Jamwal had commanded for 2 years most versatile Mizoram & Cachar Frontier of BSF in the North-East region of India where he coordinated the operational and logistic support to BSF troops deployed in one of the most difficult terrain in the country.
The new IG while taking over the command said that he would take forward the BSF's commitment to maintain sanctity of the borders and will not leave any stone unturned towards maintaining a secure environment to ensure safety & security of border populatiorn. |
