Now, SMC's Dy Mayor says nothing wrong in anti-India slogans
What is stopping Governor Admin from taking action?

Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 28: The deputy mayor of Srinagar Municipal Corporation is in news again and this time because of a viral video in which he could be heard as saying that youth from Kashmir should be allowed to say 'Hindustan Murdabaad' outside Jammu and Kashmir.
The video which has gone viral on social media is of some meeting held at a private hotel in Srinagar in which SMC's deputy mayor is meeting a delegation of some other state.
Posing as an expert on Kashmir affairs, the deputy mayor could be seen sitting at ease on a sofa and sermoning the delegates about what should be done to resolve the 'entangled' Kashmir issue. While talking about the student exchange program, he says in the video that if a student from Kashmir goes to any other state within the country, he should not be ridiculed for saying Hindustan Murdabad. "Have a big heart and don't get annoyed. What would happen even if a Kashmir youth chants Hindustan Murdabad. If we bear the insult of showing our identity card to a solider hailing from Tamil Nadu, what is wrong if our youth chants anti-India slogan," says the deputy mayor in the video clip.
He even admitted that people in Kashmir don't vote and that elections wouldn't in any way resolve the Kashmir issue.
This is meanwhile, not for the first time when this deputy mayor has stoked a controversy. Earlier, he was at the receiving end of the peoples' wrath when he ridiculed an on doctor duty in one of the government hospital. People even then questioned his role and authority in poking his nose into the matters that are beyond the reach of his reason and mandate.
The doctors at the Chest Diseases Hospital in Srinagar then protested against the "misbehavior" with their colleagues by the Srinagar's Deputy Mayor, Sheikh Imran.
Carrying placards, the doctors protested against the misbehavior of the Deputy Mayor. They said that his interference in the hospital matters is uncalled for. They said that he used abusive language with the doctors.
He was later forced to apologise before the doctors for transgressing the limits and speaking beyond his authority.
Now, when his another video has went viral, people are once again wondering what is stopping the government to disengage him without delay. "This deputy mayor is forgetting his position and post. He has been elected to take care of the drains and sanitation of lanes. Why he is trying to become an expert on Kashmir issue and sermonising the people. The language he has been speaking in the video shows the non-sensical person in him. How could the Governor's administration even tolerate such a man in the administrative setup of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation," says a senior official in the state government.
"This SMC has become a circus and the deputy mayor looks like Rakhi Sawant of Bollywood who quite often speaking something bizarre ad remains in the news," says a netizen while reacting to the video on Facebook.
