| I along with my wife and the daughter landed at the Dubai International Airport in the afternoon of Friday last. For availing of the Aircraft facility, we had to pass the coldest night at Guru Ram Ji Dass International Airport, Amritsar as our train from Jammu Tawi reached the holy city of Amritsar at 3.30 am when the night temperature was touching 2 degree celcious only.
Since the flight from Dubai was late by more than one hour, we boarded the plane at 12.35 pm for Dubai and after having remained in the space territories of Pakistan, Iran and Oman for more than three hours reached Dubai at 2.50 pm on Friday last when the temperature was 28 degrees celcious. My dream of visiting some foreign country comes true as in the childhood, I were usually asking the astrologers as to whether I would go to the foreign country or not ? Thanks to Deity! I am in Dubai these days. Having reached over here and after having seen the various sites and the places of tourist interests, one can say with the confidence that really Dubai is a marvelous place in this World.
Pertinent to mention here that I had heard much about Dubai earlier from my relations and friends who were familiar with Dubai and its surroundings. After reaching over here, found exactly true in the sense that Dubai is a marvellous destination indeed because of the reason that the tourists from across the World prefer to come here for enjoyment and leisure. It is a lovely place established and developed on the modern lines and the technology as per the tastes of the people at large. For building this lovely destination apart from others , Indians too have also contributed a lot in its development particularly the man power from all the fields such as technology, medical, infrastructure, trade and commerce, Corporate business etc. etc. Dubai is one of the parts of the UAE- the Marvellous one indeed. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is comprising of seven states named as Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Shargal, Umualquwan, Fujairah, Rasal Khaimah and its capital Abhu Dhabhi
Just to apprise the readers that there are numerous places of attractions for the tourists such as Dubai Mall, Burj Khaleefa, Dubai frame, Bur Dubai, Dera, Global village, Alhees, Museum, Star Hotels more than 200, Metrosetc etc. etc.
The Supremo - Sheikh of Dubai is playing the great and exemplary role in developing it on the modern and sophisticated lines to give it the most impressive look for the tourists desirous of visiting Dubai in their lives. It is remarkable that with in a short span of two decades or so, Sheikh of Dubai has tried his level best to set an example in building a MAJOR HUB in ths World for all the activities from tourism to Infrastructural development. The system of governance the things by Dubai administration is based upon the systematic and the scientific lines which is really appreciable indeed. Dubai is crimeless as the laws of the land are very stringent and deterrent in nature. Cleanliness of Dubai and its roads /streets are very fine and spacious leaving no scope of the congestion.
One can't find any Police constabulary in the city which is really a remarkable feature of the able administration. Certainly the credit goes to him oil resources. There is no nuisance of the dogs or the cattle in the city areas. Such like instances are always there in the Metros / other big cities in India.
Like Abhu Dhabhi (which is having a big Zakheera of oil ) Dubai does not have any oil resources. This may be the main reason for the Supremo (Sheikh) to develop Dubai as the Tourist and Corporate Hub of its own kind fast in this World. His approach is exemplary one as he is having the superb and innovative brain because of which his country is getting the good yields from the sector which constitutes 20 % of of the total revenue for running the nation . Dubai was getting the 60 % and 20 % of the revenue from the trade /commerce and capital returns respectively. But it is worth mentioning here that the yield from the trade and commerce has started showing the declining trend because of the ongoing unwanted situation in the neighbouring countries of Syria , Iran etc . etc . as also because of the factors of non recoveries of the funds of the financial institutions , the ploughing back of the same is becoming difficult day by day . These are the major reasons of the retrenchments of the employees by the employers. This is really painful and because of this a sense of uncertainty is prevailing at the moment amongst the people who are loosing their jobs in these hard days. The Supremo is having the regards for the other religions as is evident from the fact that he has donated a big chunk of valuable land in the sub area of Dubai for the construction of GURUDAWARA which has come up and there is a regular inflow of yardaloos in it. This reflects his positive personality.
The peculiar feature of this Gurudawara is that it has a very sound audio system in place wherein the Sangat can hear the Shabad kirtan and the gurubani inside the Gurudawara and whereas the sound of the same do not go outside the Gurudawara. Really one gets satisfaction and Sakoon while living in Dubai.
Next week, I intend to visit Abhu Dhabi- the capital of UAE and I would revert back detailing therein about the various salient features of Abhu Dhabi, after having visited the said area. |
