| Drug peddler held with charas | | | Early Times Report
Katra, Jan 5: Katra police today claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and recovered charas from his possession. Police spokesman said that today a naka was established y SI Suman Singh along with officials of Katra police station near JK Bank Aghar Jitto.
"During checking and frisking 10 no of challies i.e charas like substance has been recoverd from the possesion of one person namely Davinder Sharma of Gunni Parthal tehsil Katra in Reasi", said police spokesman adding that the said person is coming from Reasi side towards Katra for illegal sale of the said contraband substance.
In this regard a case under FIR no. 04/2019 under section 8/20 NDPS Act registred in Katra and investigation taken up.
The arrest and recovery has been made by SHO Katra-Inspector Surinder Singh Sambyal under the supervision of SDPO Katra-Vivek Shekhar, ASP Katra-Naresh Singh and SSP Reasi-Nisha Nathyal. |
