Jammu, Jan 5: UCO Bank, a premier nationalized bank today celebrated its 76th foundation day. Established on 6th of January 1943 having its head office in Kolkata; the foundation of the bank was laid by great industrialist G.D Birla.
On this momentous milestone of the bank, the Keran branch of the bank following its corporate call observed financial literacy week from 1st of January to 6th of January 2019. Joining the corporate call a customer meet was organized within the branch premises with the main objective to spread financial awareness among the masses. On the occasion Branch Head Vikrant Sharma addressed the gathering and threw light on the different scheme's run by the bank in public interest. Account opening drive was also conducted and various deposit accounts were opened including Saving's account, PPF account etc. Those who were present Vikrant Sharma (Branch Head), Bimla Devi (ABH), Vinod Kumar (Staff), Vishav Narian, Kamal Sharma, Baneet Pal Singh, Avinash Chander Sharma, Arun Khajuria, Puneet Kerni etc. |
