One of the protestor said that there is only women cell in entire Jammu. Moreover, there is a shortage of staff due to which lot of inconvenience is created. There are many cases pending due to the shortage of staff and people have to wait from morning till evening. He added that the government order no 229-F of 2014 dated 17-10-2014 regarding pay anomaly. The effect is being given prospectively which mean from the date of the order. Whereas, the effect should have been given from the year 1996 when 5th pay commission was implemented throughout the state but only this police department was left out. While some of them have been expired, and surviving struggles should get the benefit. Also various pay anomaly have been formed and they given their opinions and approvals from time to time but nothing much have been done.
