Udhampur, Jan 6: Police claimed to have recovered two missing girls including one minor in various areas of the district.
According to police, a complaint was received at Udhampur police station regarding missing of a girl from her workplace. She was resident of Sattani, Udhampur.
Police conducted raids at suspected locations and ultimately the girl was traced out from Batote area of district Ramban. She was later handed over to family members.
Another minor girl resident of Muttal, Tikri, Udhampur was also recovered by police from main Bazaar Katra.
She was also handed over to family members after proper legal procedures. |
