Don't let Mehbooba enter your houses: Hizb to militants' families | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Jan 6: In a fresh audio tape, Militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahdeen on Sunday asked families of slain militants and civilians to not allow former Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti to enter their homes. In an unverified audio, Hizb Commander Reyaz Naikoo can be heard slamming former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for visiting families of slain militants and civilians. "Today Mehbooba Mufti is saying that Police is getting directions for harassing families of Mujahdeen (Militants) but I want to ask her that who was issuing directions to police in her government when killings were also taking place," Naikoo can be heard saying. "As elections are nearing she has started visiting families of slain 'Mujahdeen' (Militants) to enact drama but I want to tell you that she is the same person who said that those killed were not there to buy toffees and forces have not kept weapons for only displaying them," Naikoo said. He said that Mehbooba Mufti before 2014 elections said that her party will stop BJP and after elections she joined hands with them for power. "They are friends of New Delhi and let me tell you that they can't be our friends," he added. Last week, former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti visited the family of a slain militant at Shopian's Safanagri. Expressing sympathy with the family, Mufti had said, "directions come from the top to harass militants' families". NC vice-president Omar Abdullah had accused Mehbooba Mufti of using dead militants to appease the voter. |
