Politicians change colours, restore to jugglery: Gupta | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 14: Observing it as politics of jugglery, the former Union Minister, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta has admonished those politicians who change colors like anything even on basic issues linked with unity and integrity of the country and try to befool the people as if they are not taking note of their antics but for power ignoring the sad situation created by the proxy war launched by the theocratic Pakistan and terrorism is being employed as a tool to harm India in the name of Kashmir. Talking to callers on the occasion of Makker Sankrati, Prof Gupta said India had great civilization and Kashmir was known as an abode of saints and sufis for guiding the mankind towards eternal peace and humanity. But this was unfortunate that this charming land had come to be a land of several ills and play ground of radicalism and politics of treachery, so much so that lakhs of natives had been forced out to become migrants within their own country. He said that as far Pakistan is concerned, it was creation of a designs of the imperialists who wanted to have foot hold against Soviet Union even after independence of India as the cold war between power blocks was on. But with the passage of time a theocratic Pakistan has come to be a factory of producing ultras and radicals which threaten world peace, more so, in J&K which is an integral part of India and no one has the authority to change this constitutional status. |
