Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 1: In a much publicized case of Niki Tawi Violence against JDA officials who had gone to remove the illegal structures, a Suo-moto PIL was registered, in which Division Bench appointed 2nd Additional District & Sessions Judge Jammu as Enquiry Commission.
Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Tashi Rabstan observed that an interim report dated 28th January, 2019 has been received from Varinder Singh Bhou, 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge, Jammu wherein further time is sought to complete the enquiry in terms of order dated 28th December. DB directed inquiry Officer to file report on next date of hearing and also directed State to file a status report. |
