Decisions of erstwhile regime boosted morale of militants: Harsh 2/16/2019 10:40:38 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Feb 16: Holding a whirlwind tour of several villages of Tehsil Majalta, Harsh Dev Singh JKNPP Chairman appealed various sections of society not to fall prey to the nefarious designs of the divisive forces who were out to vitiate peace in the region and state to promote their communal and fascist agenda while condemning yesterday's incidents of arson and violence and communal provocation by vested interest, Harsh Dev Singh said that communal harmony was our greatest strength and needed to be preserved at all costs. Terming the recent statement of Governor Satya Pal Malik regarding escalation of militancy in the state due to Mehbooba's decisions as CM as partially correct, Harsh Dev Singh said that such decisions were not solely of Mehbooba Mufti but of the coalition govt comprising both PDP and BJP. He said that it was true that several decisions taken in the erstwhile regime had boosted the morale of militants but Mehbooba alone could not be held responsible as she had the full support and backing of BJP as well. And the BJP could not deflect the blame to Mufti alone in view of principle of collective responsibility of the govt for all decisions taken by any of its Ministers, said Singh. He was addressing huge public meetings in Chua, Sumal and Thalora villages of Tehsil Majalta today. Pointing towards numerous decisions taken during BJP-PDP rule for appeasement of anti-nationals in the name of confidence building measures, Harsh Dev said that they acted as catalysts emboldening and encouraging such anti-India forces in Kashmir. He said that release of around 11,000 stone-pelters by Mehbooba Mufti was ordered in BJP-PDP rule with not a single voice of dissent emanating from saffron brigade or any of its leaders who become party to the nasty decision only for the lust of power.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
