POONCH, Feb 25: Nehru Yuva Kendra Poonch, Ministry of Youth affairs and Sports (Government of India) has organized "Two day District Level Sports Meet at Block - LASSANA", at Govt. High School Kalai which is concluded. In this Sports Tournament around 200 youth participated from all blocks. There were total five events of sports Tournament which include events of Volley ball, Short Race, Tag of War, kho-kho and kabbadi. In the volley ball game "SHAHEED MUMTAZ CLUB"won the first prize and CHANDAK-B stood runner up. However, in the kabbadi, "TIGER CLUB KALAI" was winner up and FRIENDS WORRIOR was runner up. Dr. Shamim Banday, Govt. Degree College Poonch was the Chief Guest for the event.
At the end of tournament kanwal kumar, Poonch presented vote of thanks to all participants. He also highlighted the core and specials program of NYKS for youth development. The event was organized by MOHD. SHAFIQ, Trainers of training (TOT). All participants were awarded and whole event was well managed by NYKS Poonch. |
