Poonch, Feb 25: During the ongoing rumours in state, people residing Line of Control are much afraid and their sleeps have been flitted away. As per the sources from LoC areas of Poonch including Shahpur, Kirni, Qasba, Sawjian, Degwar, Khari, Karmara, Gulpur Jhulas, Salotri and other areas informed Early Times that, "Although government has sanctioned bunkers (community and individual) to them, but concern administration has become failed to construct them on LoC". Abdul Rashid Shahpuri, a border resident and social activist has alleged that District Administration is deliberately ignoring border people, who are facing problems due to lack of rice, flour, sugar, gas cylinder and kerosene oil".
He further said that people are afraid of war as there is high tension in state as well as in Poonch, where administration has imposed 144Cr. PC and issued high alert. He has appealed to governor Satya Pal Malik to take notice into the matter and provide facilities to the people residing Line of Control. |
