| Dr Antra, Dr Apporva hold lecture at ASCOMS | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 27: A short lecture was organized by the Department of Pediatrics, Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS), Sidhra on topic "Approach to Adolescent Child With Bleeding" under scientific activity series for the awareness of faculty members and students, here today.
The case was presented by Intern Doctors, Dr Apoorva Malhotra and Dr Antra Kumar. On the occasion, Director Principal of the College, Dr Pawan Malhotra, Dr Ravinder K Gupta, Coordinator Dr Rajesh Gupta and other faculty members besides students were also present.
Dr Antra Kumar and Dr Apoorva Malhotra threw light on the case of adolescent girl with bleeding and explained in brief about the way to deal such cases. Dr Antra Kumar explained how to proceed in case of child bleeding, especially girl. She detailed the case history, examination, lab investigation and treatment. Dr Apporva spoke about the case presentation.
Director Principal lauded both the speakers for presenting the case in lucid manner and laid emphasis on more such programmes to strengthen the academics and research work in the colleges. |
