| Kishtwar court grants bail to 3 Jamat leaders | | |

Jammu, March 7: A Kishtwar court has granted bail to three Jamat leaders who were arrested as part of on-going crackdown on Jamat-e-Islami and its leaders.
As per the details available with "Early Times", the counsel of the three Jamat e Islami leaders including incumbent District President Abdul Majeed Shiekh, Former District President Kishtwar Mohammad Iqbal Malik and another senior leader Ghulam Qadir Butt challenged the arrest of the trio in FIR No. 21/2019 registered at Police Station Kishtwar under Unlawful Activities Act. Keeping in view the age and health of the accused, the court granted bail to them. Following the bail from the Court, all the three leaders were released from the police custody. The relative of one of the arrested leader while speaking to Early Times confirmed the release of all the three arrested leaders. |
