Two days Software Development conference concludes at JU

Jammu, Mar 7: The two days National Conference on - Emerging Trends in Quality Assurance and Enhancement in Software Development jointly organized by the Department of Computer Sciences & IT and Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance, University of Jammu concluded with the valediction programme at the seminar hall of the Department of Computer Science & IT.
Prof. Anju Bhasin, Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu, Chief Guest on the occasion commended the efforts of the department in successfully organizing the conference. Prof Bhasin said that the tracks and the research talks were highly technical and covered the contemporary issues of the computer science. He added that the link between teaching and research was very salient and such conferences shall be organized regularly for the amelioration of the students and scholars.
Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Registrar, University of Jammu and Director, Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance, University of Jammu talked about the importance of quality assurance. She assured the department for all types of support and collaborations in near future for organizing such type of activities.
Prof. Lalit Sen Sharma, Convener of the Conference & Head, Department of Computer Science & IT formally apprised the delegates about the different academic & research activities being taken up by the department. Prof Lalit expressed satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the conference and spoke about the deliberations made by the different researchers required with regard to the improvement of quality in software. Prof. Sharma conveyed his sincere thanks to all those who attended and contributed for the successful organization of this conference.
Some of the paper presenters were asked to share their experiences about the workshop. The proceedings were conducted by Mrs. Alka Sharma research scholars of the department. Among others Prof Vinod Sharma, Sh Jasbir Singh, Dr. Shubhnandan, Dr. Suresh Rao, Mrs Ginny Dogra, Er Anik Gupta, Dr. Jatinder Manhas, Amit Sharma, Shaurabh Shastri besides faculty members from various departments and colleges, officers of the University, students, scholars and delegates from various institutions from outside the state were also present on the occasion.
