Poonch, Mar 7: The people of Poonch are disappointed over refusal of the government to sanction a women college for the area. Pertinently the government laid foundation of several degree colleges across the state but the people of Poonch did not get the much needed women college.
The Jammu and Kashmir Insaaf Movement strongly resented the government decision.
The chairman, Javid Iqbal Reshi accused the government of nurturing double standards. "If they sanctioned a women college for Jammu, why was Poonch left out," he questioned. He appealed to the Governor to do the needful. |
