Jammu, Mar 7: Bakshi Nagar police today claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for past many years. Police spokesman said that police party of Bakshi Nagar arrested an absconder who had been evading arrest since many years.
"A police party led by SHO Bakshi Nagar-Inspector Amit Sangra, tracked and arrested the absconder, namely, Vishal Kumar of Resham Ghar Colony, Jammu," said spokesman adding that the said person had been evading arrest in a case under FIR No. 08/2008 under sections 451,323,147 of RPC registered at police station Bakshi Nagar Jammu. The warrant of arrest under section 512 CrPC had been issued in this case by the Special Municipal Mobile Magistrate, Jammu. |
