| Using religious sentiments for securing votes is dangerous: MPEJ | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 12: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice (MPEJ) in a press release issued here said that a very dangerous trend is going rounds in politics these days. All traditional 'corrupt' political parties are spreading the message that if such and such parties come to power than such and such religion groups will be targeted. It is totally a false agenda being spread by all these traditional political parties only to mislead poor people, which is very dangerous for all irrespective of religion, region and also our coming generations while also dangerous for our democratic system. So the public should see only the merit of the candidate and vote him/her to power whatever his political affiliations. The need of the hour is to expose all these tested political parties irrespective of caste, creed, colour or religion or region should vote against all these corrupt, commission based & caste based political parties. The present situation in the country in general & J&K state in particular is due to the corrupt and commission based political system. No Hindu, Muslim, Sikh is safe in this corrupt, commission based and caste based politics, they added.
They further said that the condition worsened in Kashmir because of corrupt and selfish Kashmir leaders' connivance adding that now even if they intend to act otherwise, it is not in their hands.
