As per the details available with "Early Times", one dead fetus was found inside the bathroom seat in the hospital complex while another one was found inside the dustbin of the hospital while the third one was found buried inside the huge boulder.
As soon as the news of dead fetus in District Hospital Kishtwar complex, spread, large number of people including social activist assembled at the spot and brought the matter into the notice of Kishtwar police who immediately rushed to the spot and took the custody of the dead fetus. FIR No. 33 U/S 318 RPC was registered at Police Station Kishtwar.
During the initial probe, Kishtwar police detained two suspects, of which one has confessed and told the police that his wife gave birth to premature dead baby and instead of burring it at some graveyard he preferred to bury the dead child in hospital premises.
Incharge Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar P L Bhagat said that he came to know about the incident through police and added that the hospital authorities will cooperate with the police in its investigation.
