JAMMU, Mar 12: To supplement health care facilities at the door step, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region organised a free Dental Check-up and awareness camp at Institute of Dental Sciences, Sehora Jammu. Large number of students of Sangarsh Vidya Kendra , Maratha Colony, Jammu were taken to the Dental College for their proper examination.
The camp included dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent from them.
The students were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which cause tooth decay.
A team of Dental specialist along with Dr. Rajinder Thappa, Red Cross trainer and Kanchan Kumari under the supervision of Dinesh Gupta, Hony. Secretary, IRCS, Jammu Region carried out a compressive Dental Check-up cum awareness camp. |
