JAMMU, Mar 26: An anti-addiction awareness campaign was undertaken by Environmental club of K.C. College of Education wherein the students visited the Udheywala slum area.
It was a door to door exercise and the inhabitants were oriented in a very friendly atmosphere so that they could come up with their problems and share the adverse circumstances of life which drive them towards this menace. The ill effects of intoxicants upon the Physical, mental and social well being of a person were brought home to the people in a very constructive manner making use of relevant material like charts, slogans, songs and drama. The whole programme was organized under the guidance of Puja Sharma, Convener Environmental Club of the college. |
