Srinagar: Unidentified gunmen on Wednesday shot dead a youth in Kachdoora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports said that on Wednesday afternoon, unidentified gunmen attacked and shot dead the youth near Jamia Masjid Kachdoora. He died on the spot.
They said that forces have cordoned the area and launched a manhunt.
SSP Shopian Sandeep Choudary said that militants killed a “civilian” who was identified as Tanveer Ahmed Dar, 24, son of Muhammad Abdullah Dar, a resident of Bemniora.
He said a case has been registered and investigations taken up. |
