| An Intra College Symposisum held at GDC Thannamandi | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Apr 5: In connection with Ongoing Punctuality Week Observance, on fifth day Govt. Degree College Thannamandi in collaboration with Women Development Cell of the College organized an Intra College Symposium on the topic "Importance of Punctuality".
Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina was chief guest on the occasion. In the programme, many students participated and presented their views on the importance of Punctuality. In the symposium, Sageer Ahmed, Sana Firdous and Shabnam Malik bagged first, second and third positions respectively. Among the faculty of the college, Dr. Nahim Un Nisa, Dr. Khalid Rayaz, Prof. Fatima Qazi and Dr. Punam Rani shared their views on Punctuality.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina said that judicious use of time by students is very important, and time management plays a very significant role in the development and upliftment of society. He said that as the proverb goes, time and tide wait for none, and this is particularly true in the case of students and academicians.
Earlier the programme started with recitation of few verses of Holy Quran. The programme was compared by Dr. Nahim Un Nisa, while vote of thanks was given by Dr. Punam Rani. |
