| Drud peddler held with 6 gram heroin | | |

Samba, Apr 5: District Police Samba has arrested drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Samba police station and recovered 06 gram heroin (Chitta) from his possession.
Police spokesman said that a police party of police post Supwal headed by SI Tariq Ahmed-Incharge police post Supwal under the supervision of Inspector Shiv Dev Singh-SHO Samba, Deepak Digra-Dy.SP Hqrs Samba and Faisel Qureshi-Addl. SP Samba during patrolling in Barian, Supwal intercepted one person who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
"During frisking of the said person, 06 gram heroin (Chitta) was recovered from his possession," said spokesman adding that the accused person identified as Shamsh Din of Rakh Brotian, Vijaypur was arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized. In this regard a case under FIR No. 77/2019 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in Samba police station and investigation started.
Samba Police has made appeal to the General Public to cooperate with Police in its war against Drug and any information about Drug Menace in their area be shared with nearest Police Station. |
