| 295 Polling parties deployed for polling in Samba | | General Elections-2019 | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Apl 10: As many as 295 Polling Parties have been deployed across Samba district for polling across Samba and Vijaypur Assembly segments of Jammu Parliamentary constituency which is going to polls tomorrow.
The Polling parties, including 143 for Samba and 152 for Vijaypur along with polling material - EVMs and VVPATs left for the respective polling stations under the supervision of District Election Officer Samba Sushma Chauhan.
Earlier in the morning, the Polling Parties reported at the respective dispatch centres where Electronic Voting Machine along with Voters Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) and other election material were made available to them.
Later, accompanied by Security personnel, the presiding Officers and other team members reached their respective polling station to undertake the voting process, which is starting from tomorrow 7 am till 6 pm evening. |
