MPEJ castigates NC- Congress for trampling democratic institutions | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 28: Movement for Peace, Equality and Justice (MPEJ) has criticized NC-Congress alleging them for trampling democratic institutions. Fasting / protests against corrupt system won't help general masses because the corrupt politicians will never frame laws against themselves. It is only the people, like that of Delhi, who should wake up from the deep slumber & throw away the 70 years of joke of NC, Congress, PDP or BJP in the state, MPEJ members said. They cautioned the general public not to get misled by the degraded politics of divide and rule, regionalism, communalism and corrupt practices for the sake of votes by these corrupt political parties and beware of all these political parties who are blaming one another only to mislead the general public. Reminding NC & Congress of the unprecedented poll riggings in 1987 when NC joined hands with the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, he said it was during said Rajiv Gandhi & Farooq Abdullah accord where in about one dozen leaders of Muslim United Front (MUF) actually got elected but were arbitrarily declared defeated in J&K. This was the open murder of democracy & its democratic values at the hands of none but central Government of Congress in connivance with State NC Govt. |
