Jammu, April 28: Trikuta Nagar police today claimed to have arrested two snatchers and recovered Rs 47,000 which they snatched from a person at Railway Station some weeks ago.
Police spokesman said that on April 05, 2019, a complaint was submitted at Trikuta Nagar police station by Uttam Aria of Kaluchak alleging that two persons snatched Rs 47,000 from him near Railway Sation, Jammu. Acting on the complaint a case under FIR No. 91/2019 under sections 341, 382/34 of RPC was registered at Trikuta Nagar. Meanwhile, a team led by SHO Trikuta Nagar-Inspector Parvez Sajad initiated investigation immediately and few suspects were rounded up and questioned. "Based on leads during investigation, two persons, namely, Arun Mahto and Manoj Mahtoboth residents of Panapur, Ratwara, Distt Muzaffarpur, Bihar were apprehended and the snatched amount was recovered from their possession," said police spokesman adding that further investigation is underway.
