Govt Polytechnic Jammu alumni qualifies world University Games-2019 at Italy

Jammu, June 1: Jammu Vansh Mahajan, Alumni of Govt. Polytechnic College Jammu brought fame to the college by Qualifying for World University Games - 2019 at Napoli, Italy from 3rd to 14th July 2019. In the felicitation Ceremony held today the principal Govt. Polytechnic Jammu Er. Arun Bangotra presented bouquet to Vansh Mahajan International Fencer of the state being alumni of Govt. Polytechnic Jammu of Civil Engineering branch for his big achievement for Qualifying of World University Games 2019 at Italy.
Er. Arun Bangorta Principal also lauded the achievements of Vansh Mahajan Ace Fencer had represented Country in Junior Cadet Common Wealth Fencing Championship at Cape town, South Africa, Junior World Cup at Russia, Junior World Championship at Italy. Navy open Fencing Championship at Bangkok, Junior Fencing Championship at Singapore, Thailand open fencing championship at Thailand and Won many more medals in school national and National Championship. The State Govt has also announced Sher-e-Kashmir Sports Award and also got S. Rangil Singh Sports Excellency Award from J&K Olympic Association.

In the last, the national Medalist and Ace Fencer Vansh Mahajan expressed his gratitude for the support extended to him by the Polytechnic College throughout his days to Principal Er. Arun Bangotra and Staff of College while he attributes his success, Performance and achievements to his Coach Shotu Lal and his Icons Rashid Choudhary and Ujawal Gupta for achieving his goals.
