| Khellani hospital ailing: Residents | | |

Doda, June 1: The locals of Khellani have expressed serious concern over what they called `ailing' trauma hospital; According to them the hospital has not been working properly for quite some time.
A meeting of general public including prominent citizens of Marmat Galyan in presence of the Sarpanches /Panches of all Panchyats of Block Khellani and Block Marmat was convened in the premises of Trauma Hospital Khellani on 30-05-2019 to chalk out future strategy for the hospital.
This Hospital was inaugurated on 20- 04- 2017 by the then Hon'ble Health Minister in presence of the then MLA Doda and public of Khellani. It was assured at that time that the Trauma Hospital will function properly.
The hospital they said, is running with one doctor and a few paramedics and assistants even as infrastructure, according to locals, has been furnished to the hospital.
Seeking immediate measures for setting things right, the locals threatened agitation incase the government ignored the demand yet again. |
