Change status-quo, vote for people who can represent you: Munish to people | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 1: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Saturday said that forthcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir are the litmus test for the people. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish told the people that "the upcoming Assembly elections are important for all of us. We have to decide whether we have to stick to the old combinations or have to give new people a chance to represent us." "All of us are aware about the fact that Jammu has not got its due share during the past seven decades, if we want the status-quo to change then we will have to take few steps forward and vote for the people who are waiting for a chance to serve their people," said, Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections from Gandhi Nagar constituency. He said, "Ours is a democratic country and it's for us to decide who will represent us in the Legislative Assembly. We should stop looking towards others and stand on our own feet." Munish said, "I have come to my people with lot of hope and am sure that you would give me a chance to represent you so that I can serve you and get the issues confronting a common Jammuite addressed." |
