Jammu, June 1: Bharat Scouts and Guides organised Dwitya and Tritya Sopan camp from 27th of May to 31st of May on world no smoking day at Manda zoo park.
A painting competition comprising of around 300 students from 17 different schools gave a vibrant message to people to leave smoking habit. The topic was "smoking put it out before it puts you out".
At the end of competition the first prize clinched by Model academy, Jodhamal school got second prize, Dewan devi and Oriental academy school third prize. Shiksha Niketan and New Era Environmental school consolation prizes and May fair and maharishi vidya mandir.
Sunita Gandhi made the whole judgement participating students and whole event was supervised and guided by Usha Chunni, and Veena Vaid scouts and guide model academy.
Schools those participated were Model Academy B.C. Road, Mayur Public School (Jhidhi), Lawrence Public School, (Panjtirthi), Lawrence Public School (Sidhra), Dewan Badrinath School (D.B.N), New Era School, Jodhamal Public School, May Fair School (Chand Nagar), May Fair International School, Dewan Devi School, Activity Public School, Shishu Mandir School, Guru Gobind Singh School, Maharishi Vidya Mandir School, Oriental Academy School, Shastri memorial school & Bharat Scouts & Guides Unit of Model Academy B.C. Road, Jammu organised Pravesh & Pratham sopan camp from23rd of May, 2019 to 26th of May, 2019 and Dwitya & Tritya sopan camp held from 27th of May, 2019 to 31st of May, 2019. |
