JAMMU, June 1: Continuing its crackdown against drug menace under Operation Sanjeevani, Police arrested a peddler and recovered ganja.
A police party of District Special Branch Jammu and PP Canal, led by IC PP, SI Sohan Singh, while on naka checking at Bhagwati Nagar, apprehended a person namely Manharan Sahu son of Goverdhan Sahu resident of Baloda Bazar, Mohatra, Chhattisgarh A/p Gol Pulli, Talab Tillo Jammu. On search, around 800 Gms of ganja like substance was recovered from his possession. In relation to this, FIR No. 84/2019 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Nowabad and investigation is in progress. |
