HC restrains PSC from filling 19 posts of AE | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 1: The J&K High Court on Saturday directed the Public Service Commission (PSC) to not fill up the 19 posts of Assistant Engineers (Electric) till further orders. The court issued the order in a petition filed by Ashish Sharma and others seeking quashment of the notification No. 07-PSC (DR-P) of 2019, dated 26-04-2019 issued by the PSC whereby all the candidates including petitioners possessing the qualification of B.E Electronics and Communication were declared ineligible and debarred from applying under the said notification for filling up 58 posts of AEs (Electric) in the Power Development Department. However, their result shall not be declared till next date of hearing. It is further provided that till the matter is considered by this court, 19 posts of AEs (Electric) pursuant to the impugned notification dated 26.04.2019, shall not be filled up. |
