Jammu, June 1: J&K Excise Department, Excise Rage Samba in association with Wine traders association organized distribution program under Social Corpus Responsibility programme of the Excise Department at BBIA Club, Bari Brahmana. The program was organized as a process of rehabilitation of the families involved in distillation/production of illicit liquor, so that they can shift to alternate mode of livelihood and have a safe and dignified life. Arvind Kotwal, ADDC Samba, chaired the program and distributed sewing machines and carpentry kits to the beneficiaries for motivation, encouragement to these beneficiariesfor adopting a healthy life style and to have a positive role in the society. Other dignitaries present at the function were s. Shagun Sharma (DEC Accounts), Ankur Mahajan (Prinicpal Excise and taxation training institute), Piyush Dhotra (DPO Samba), Amit Kumar (BDO), Dr. Atul Dutt Sharma (ETO Excise range Samba), Nipun Tickoo (ETO South) & Dr. Anil Chandan (ETO North). Representatives including president Bari Brahmana Industrial Association Lalit Mahajan were also present at the occasion. Excise officials Renu Sharma (Inspector), Somnath (SA), Excise sub-inspectors - Anurag Sharma, Surinder Kumar, Anish Mahajan, Bhagwan Dass and Rishav Seth along with Excise guards - Naresh kumar and Darshan Kumar were also present at the function. |
