| GRS suspended over corruption charges | | | MS Nazki

MENDHAR, June 8: Assistant Commissioner Development Poonch on Saturday suspended Gram Rozgar Sevak Dhargloon over his alleged involvement in corrupt practices. An order ACD/P&S/01-06/C/B.kote dated 08-06-2019 issued by the office of Assistant Commissioner Development of which a copy lies with Early Times reads that the office has received a number of complaints against GRS Dhargloon Upper Mohammad Arief Khan regarding corruption and non-performance of his legitimate duties. The official as per the order was asked to submit the bills for realisation which he failed to, despite directions made by the office from time to time, thereby putting the rightful claimants to inconvenience. A deputation of local public headed by concerned Sarpanch had also complained against the official, the order reads. Acting on the complaints, the ACD office has put the official under immediate suspension and attaches him to office till enquiry pending, the order further reads. |
