| Police held bootlegger, 450 bottles liquor seized | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, June 8: In continuation to its drive against the vagabonds, Kishtwar Police has detained a bootlegger during the Naka cheking.
Acting on a specific information police team led by SI Jatinder Rakwal of Police Post Kuleed under the supervision of Inspector Suraj Pathnia, SHO Police Station Kishtwar, on the instructions of Deputy Superintendent of Police hqrs. Kishtwar Sh. Sunny Gupta-JKPS laid a special naka at Kuleed Chowk, Kishtwar.
During the checking police interecepted one namely Jugal Verma S/O Krishan Chand R/O Bilawar, District Kathua at present Shiv Nagar Kishtwar and recovered 450 bottles i.e. 81 liters JK Desi whisky from the his Alto Car bearing registration No. JK17-1965 and cash of ammounting three lacs seventy seven thousend five hundred 3,77,500/-.
In this regard Police has registered case FIR No 107/2019 under section 48 (a) Excise Act in Police Station Kishtwar. Further investigation into the case is in progress.
