Jammu, June 8: A deputation of Independent Corporators of Jammu Municipal Corporation met with Adv. Purnima Sharma Dy. Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Threadbare discussion was held with Dy. Mayor JMC, Jammu Adv. Purnima Sharma listened the deputationist patiently and assured to address the problems being put forth by them.
The corporators demanded implementation of 74 constitutional Amendment Act in J&K State, additional safaikaramchris, ddherence of Safai Karamchari to duty hours and appointment of SKC on permanent basis to meet the requirement of Corporation. Their other demands include, release of funds, regular council meetings, equal facilties to all Corporators, facilities in newly created wards beside others.
The deputation included Independent Corporator namely Vijay Choudhary, Sham Lal Basson, Prof. Yudhvir Singh, Anu Bali, Sandhya Gupta, S. Inder Singh Sudan, Amit Kumar Gupta, Rani Devi and Jagdish Raj Sharma. |
