| WCMP Women Club Jammu felicitates eminent artists | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 8: WCMP Women Club Jammu felicitated the eminent artists viz Jatinder Singh Ghazal Singer), Kanika Ghosh (Classical Choreographer) and Chander Shekhar (Cartoonist known by the name of Bunty Cartoonist) here today at WCMP office, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The felicitations were done by Sandhya Gupta chairperson WCMP and former Director Information Narendar Singh. While addressing the gathering, Sandhya Gupta chairman WCMP shared that Jatinder Singh, Kanika Ghosh and Chander Shekhar are amongst those who has taken the art to the next level. They not only promoted the state of Jammu and Kashmir through the tool of art but also brought laurels for the state. It is the responsibility of each of us to show love and respect to people like Jatinder Singh, Kanika Ghosh and Chander Shekhar.
People who are striving hard for the promotion of art needs a special place so as the legacies should be carried out otherwise the day will definitely come when nobody bothers about their own culture, she added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the main attraction was Kanika Ghosh who was honoured by WCMP with a traditional touch.
The way WCMP felicitated her with the title 'Eminent Daughter in Law of the state' will be remembered in years to come. |
